Ermahn is an artist that has transcended traditional boundaries. Born and raised in Colombia, at a very early age he fell in love with the faces of women in Hollywood films; this was when his passion for make-up began. He fulfilled this passion by permanently moving to the United States to pursue his dream of being a Hollywood make-up artist. His humble beginnings transformed to great success.
Ermahn has had the honor of being Make-Up Department Head throughout his career. These films include: "Jackie Brown" directed by Quentin Tarantino; "Women in Trouble" directed by Sebastian Gutierrez; "Sin City"and "Sin City 2 A Dame To Kill For" directed by Robert Rodriguez to mention just a few. His egoless sensibility, respectfulness, warm, down-to-earth personality, set ethics and talent has earned him the esteem of the stars with whom he has had the pleasure of working. Ermahn has been continually requested for his client’s red carpet events, press junkets, personal appearances and editorial work throughout his career.
Ermahn’s talent is inspired by nature, music, texture and colors. His unlimited imagination, love and passion for make-up have made him a well-rounded artist in the film, fashion and beauty industries. "One of the biggest joys in my life is to enhance a woman's unique natural beauty through make up application. Its power to change a woman's attitude or feeling about herself is beautiful to witness.
